Sundown Cycle 2024

The cycle will consist of 3 distance options, 77(Both Routes Back to Back), 53 and 24 miles, which will all start across the evening, and either be a late evening cycle or a ride into the night, depends on when you set off. It’s something a bit different for cyclists in this area. Please note that this event is open road and unsupported so everyone is responsible for their own safety, and we’d expect that if you see someone having technical or any other trouble that you would help them out.

Maps/Gpx route files will be provided to everyone, and it is a condition of entry that if you are riding into the night, you DO NOT RIDE ALONE AND YOU HAVE SUITABLE LIGHTS FITTED TO YOUR BIKE. Safety is paramount and this will be checked before you depart.

Price are inclusive of food/drink at stops and finishers gift.

We operate a no refund policy; these will only be processed on cancellation or postponement of the event.

Stops 53 Miles – Food at Fetternear Hall, Energy Snacks/Drinks at Monymusk 24 Miles - Food at Fetternear Hall Timetable – You turn up, SIGN IN and can go anytime within the following windows. PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST CHECK IN AT FETTERNEAR HALL AND SIGN OUT WHEN YOU ARRIVE BACK AT KINTORE. 17.00 – 18.30 – Double 77 registration and start 17.00 – 20.00 – Sunset 53 registration and start 19.00 – 21.00 – Twilight 24 registration and start

ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON THE 20th JUNE 2023 OR AT SELL OUT AND NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON THE DAY

Parking

There will be parking at Kintore School and in adjacent roads to the event, this will be marshalled where possible and please park where the marshals ask you to.
